Phosphogypsum
Features

Phosphogypsum – Chemical soil enricher
Suitable for the improvement of solonaceous and alkaline soils. The use of phosphogypsum for gypsum application displaces sodium ions from the soil absorption complex, replacing them with calcium ions. As a result, the physical and physicochemical properties of the soil are improved, tillage is facilitated and aeration is enhanced. All these factors contribute to increased microbial activity and improved soil fertility. It can be used as a structure-improving component in irrigated soils and rice cropping rotations at a dosage of 4-6 t/ha. It has a long after-effect period. It contains calcium (37% in CaO) and sulphur (21.5%) and can serve as a source of these elements for plants.

Product Benefits
  • It improves the physical and physicochemical properties, soil structure and water holding capacity of the soil.
  • It contains 7 to 15 kg P2O5, which is in the form of inorganic phosphorus components.
  • It can be used to replenish calcium and sulphur levels in the soil.
  • It can be used as an effective enricher for solonez and saline soils.
  • It helps to reduce the dispersion of saline and irrigated soils and determines the formation of soil structure.
Nutrient Composition
  • Mass fraction of the main substance (CaSO4 2H2O), in dry matter, at least 77 – 92
  • Mass fraction of total phosphates (P2O5), completely in dry matter, at least 0.7

Mass fraction of free water

  • Maximum 6 – 25
